2025/2026 Recurring Events
In the 2025/2026 academic year, we hosted our recurring events that focused on community building, creative methodologies, EDI, work-in-progress sharing, and more!
Weekly co-working/writing club from 10-2 on Fridays Feel free to come by the JOYLab and write and co-work in community with others The space is open for all who wish to write (and some of us love working alongside others)
Wednesdays 1-4PM A weekly, dedicated BIPOC students space for BIPOC students (undergraduate & graduate!) to work & chat & gather
Our monthly book club where we read and discuss a book (non-fiction OR fiction) selected by a different JOYLab member each time.

We also hosted and participated in dozens of special events in and outsides of our space with very special guest speakers, collaborators, community initiatives, and students offering workshops, trainings, and the occasional party!
